This weekend I met Fay and Dan in Nottingham for their Engagement Shoot. Such a fun, loving couple who are brilliant to work with.
Fay and Dan are having a winter wedding in Midtown Manhattan, New York at the breathtaking St. Bart’s on Park Avenue, with the reception at Studio 450.

Just got back from a Nottingham Engagement Shoot with Abi and Paul who get married at Donington Park Farmhouse next year. We’ve been wanting to get this shoot in all year but every time we booked it in the heavens opened up. As you can see finally we were blessed with almost clear skies.
A sunset portrait of Katie and Mark during their Tissington Hall wedding. We had taken a few silhouette photos because the sky was so beautiful. Then with help from an assistant we turned on the flash and got this great shot.
A great day had by all and looking forward to sharing more with you in the coming weeks.
Last weekend I shot a really fun Engagement Shoot with Emma and Phil in Derby. I always love it when couples want to do something a bit different to taking walks through the countryside, especially when it involves such fast pace action like this shoot at a Moonsha Japanese Bar and Restaurant in Derby.

Working with my back against the wall! It’s not unusual to find myself photographing in tight spaces at weddings, especially during the bridal preparations. It’s these types of shots that I love though.
Granted it’s not easy on the joints, and you risk an elbow in the face but photographing from the edge of the action is just not my style.
Laura & Roddy got married at St. Giles’ Church in Derby, followed by a Wedding Breakfast and Reception at The County Ground.
