Kim and Troy’s Wedding at The Hilton Birmingham Metropole Previews

This is one of my favourite images taken during the ceremony of Kim and Troy’s wedding. The ceremony was held at Camp Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church followed by a Wedding Breakfast at The Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel. The image was taken when Kim’s father was asked, “Who gives this woman…” I don’t think there was any doubt in the minds of the 450+ guests who was giving Kim away!

Thea and Jamie’s Derbyshire Marquee Wedding

I originally met Thea whilst she was working at one of my previous weddings in Derbyshire. Later that year I was so glad when Thea and Jamie then asked me to photograph their wedding.

Anybody who knows Thea and Jamie will know how much of a fun loving couple they are. I think from when I first stepped into their house I was laughing to the point of tears. They have such a great sense of humour and instantly make everybody around them feel at ease. It was this point that  knew they were going to have a great wedding day.

Thea and Jamie got married at St. Michaels in Derbyshire followed by a Marquee Wedding Breakfast and Reception provided by Top Marques in Kirk Langley.

Unfortunately Thea’s family that came over from Greece did not bring the sun with them, but this had no impact on the day as the atmosphere was fantastic.

Thea & Jamie have just returned from the second wedding ceremony in Greece so I thought it would be great to share some of my favourite photos from their Derbyshire Wedding. I hope you enjoy.

Emma and Neil’s Wedding at The Churchill Hotel Previews

Last weekend I was so happy to be able to photograph the wedding of Emma and Neil at The Churchill Hotel in York.

We all had a scare when the River Ouse burst it banks due to the torrential downpour only a few days before. Several guests had called staff at The Churchill Hotel to enquire as to whether it would be advisable to come by boat. However on the day there were no rain clouds to be seen and the sun had worked pretty hard to dry up as much of York as possible.

Emma and Neil were joined by their family and friends who had made journeys from around Yorkshire, Humberside and the East Midlands. All had a fantastic day and the service from the staff at The Churchill Hotel was exceptional.

Congratulations Emma and Neil and I hop you’re having a great honeymoon.
