A few weeks back I had the pleasure of photographing Rachel and Alex’s Packington Moor wedding. Avoiding being typically British I’m not going to moan about the cold weather as it had little bearing on the day. Of course everybody hurried to get into Packington Moor but once inside the atmosphere was so lively that any slight chill was soon forgotten.
My camera made its first appearance at Rachel’s parents house, photographing the early stages of Rachel’s preparations with her Bridesmaid’s and Flower Girl. I then nipped down the road to help tell the other side of the story with Alex and his groomsmen prior to them making the short trip to the Holy Trinity Church for the Roman Catholic wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony I joined the wedding party at Packington Moor as they continued with their celebrations. I stayed with them well into the evening as the feet started to tap and the hips sway, ending in a full demonstration of some Category A dance moves.
