Last weekend I was at The Derby Conference Centre to photograph the wedding of Kim and Chris, a great couple to be around and it was enjoyable to photograph the celebrations with their friends and family.

Having stayed over at The Derby Conference Centre the evening before, Kim was up bright and early and as usual I was on hand to photograph the early preparations.

After Kim and Chris’ wedding ceremony the wedding party sheltered away from the soaring sun in the air-conditioned, Art Deco sunken lounge of The Derby Conference Centre.

This Hassop Hall wedding seemed to be a long time in the making, as I originally met Sally and Richard nearly 2 years ago at their home in Nottingham. At that stage the venue and wedding photographer were booked, but every other detail, as you would expect, still needed to be planned. Finally on Saturday it was great to see all off their wedding plans come together and photograph their stunning Hassop Hall wedding.

Their wedding day was a unique blend of Derbyshire and Welsh influences with a little Flight Attendant and Rastafarian sprinkled in to mix it up a little. All will be revealed in the full blog post. Until that time here a few sneak peeks from Sally and Richards Hassop Hall wedding.
