I’m finding it pretty unbelievable that as I post this week’s image from Mexico I’m preparing to photograph my second international wedding of 2014. So I thought it appropriate to go back to where it all started by sharing this favourite moment from Fay and Dan’s Winter Destination Wedding in New York.
With views of the setting sun of over the Manhattan skyline Fay and Dan’s wedding reception at Studio 450 was spectacular and it was such a pleasure to be able to photograph the celebrations that went on until the early morning.
The first of the month brings you the brilliantly styled Rockabilly Wedding of Laura and Scott, a couple that I had so much fun with whilst shooting their Engagement Shoot that I was very eager to add to their image bank with plenty of photos from what was a fantastic day in Derbyshire.
On the day of the wedding I was around to photograph the boys getting ready as well as the girls and with Laura and Scott adding so much of their personalities into the styling of the wedding there was plenty to keep me busy.
Having successfully avoided a fashion disaster by swerving helping the groomsmen tie their bow ties, I then made my way over to the ladies where a little engine trouble added a little bit of tension outweighed by a healthy amount of relief and humor to the early proceedings.
The rest of the day went without a stall and Laura and Scott’s celebrations were truly memorable. Here are a few of my favourite moments that can also be seen on my Facebook page.
