Michelle and Ben’s Rivington Hall Barn Wedding Previews

Looking back at an excellent weekend with Michelle and Ben, a brilliant couple who perfectly planned and enjoyed an amazing wedding at the impressive Lancashire wedding venue Rivington Hall Barn.

With barn weddings being ever popular I’ve shot at quite a few but Rivington Hall Barn has definitely got to be one at the top of my favourite list. Nicely tucked away on the Rivington Hall estate the striking beamed roof and beautiful ambient lighting made it the perfect venue for Michelle and Ben to host their celebrations.

Prior to their wedding ceremony and reception in Bolton I was in Manchester at Michelle and Ben’s home photographing the early stages of the day, with Michelle’s family and Bridesmaids on hand to ensure everything went smoothly.

Looking forward to sharing more from Michelle and Ben’s Rivington Hall Barn wedding in the coming weeks but for now here are some previews of which you can also see and share on my Facebook page.

Fern and Jon’s Derbyshire Wedding Previews

I’m avoiding looking out of the window on this grey and miserable bank holiday and instead I’d much rather share some of my favourites from Fern and Jon’s intimate wedding at The Old Hall Hotel in Buxton, Derbyshire.

I’ve never any complaints taking the scenic drive north to Buxton, a small town in the high peaks that’s often a weekend retreat for those living in the surrounding cities of Manchester, Sheffield and Derby. So it was clear why Fern and Jon had chosen to go to Buxton from their home in Staffordshire for their wedding at the highly rated Old Hall Hotel.

I spent a few hours with them starting with Fern preparations through to afternoon tea.

Here’s a preview of some of my favourite moments of which you can also see and share on my Facebook page.

Nicky and Alex’s Wedding Previews

Last weekend I photographed Nicky and Alex’s wedding at Morley Hayes in Derbyshire and having known them for some time now it was an occasion I was looking forward to be being a part of.

After spending a little bit of time with Alex and his Groomsmen at the bar I headed over to Morley Hayes Hotel to photograph Nicky’s preparations. Joined by her daughter Paige, Flower Girl, Paige Boy and three Bridesmaids it was a room full of energy and enjoyment.

I’ll be sharing more details and photos from Nicky and Alex’s wedding in the coming weeks but for now here’s a preview of some of my favourite images of which you can also see and share on my Facebook page.

Laura and Ben’s New Year’s Eve Wedding at The Hillbark Hotel

The end of 2015 was simply brilliant as was the start of 2016, with Laura and Ben’s New Year’s Eve wedding at the Hillbark Hotel in Wirral ensuring that both years would be ones to remember.

There was plenty to be celebrated before Laura and Ben welcomed in 2016 with the familiar 10-second countdown and the joyous singing of Auld Lang Syne with a beautifully styled reception at the Hillbark Hotel, taking full advantage of their exclusivity with the evening being hosted in the several banqueting rooms and Marquee of the Tudor venue.

Laura prepared for the wedding at her families home in Wirral, with the highlights being the amazing reactions of her close friends and family at seeing Laura in her wedding dress for the first time.

It was then a short trip to the church for Laura and Ben’s ceremony before continuing their day at the Hillbark Hotel.

Here are a few of my favourite moments of which you can see and share on my Facebook page.

Rachel and Haydn’s candlelit wedding in Staffordshire

This intimate candlelit wedding of Rachel and Haydn’s in Staffordshire is next up on the blog with plenty of beautiful moments to be shared here and on my Facebook page.

Rachel and Haydn’s wedding celebrations brought them North from their home in Hampshire to Castle Hill House on the Tutbury Castle estate in Staffordshire, with friends and family also making their way from all around the UK.

With all of the wedding party staying at Castle Hill House the atmosphere was buzzing on arrival with celebrations in the festive season already well underway.

The dark and moody skies that cascaded down onto the town of Tutbury only added to the atmosphere as Rachel and Haydn exchanged their vows within the candlelit St Mary’s Church.

Here are a few of my favourite moments of which you can also see and share on my Facebook page.
