Emma and Gary’s Peak Edge Hotel Wedding

Last few weddings from 2015 coming to the blog in the next few days, starting with Emma and Gary’s festive wedding at The Peak Edge Hotel in Derbyshire.

Having relocated to Derbyshire from Devon in late 2014, Emma and Gary’s exploration of the Peak District started with an Engagement Shoot in the high peaks so it was great to continue that story on a cold and windy day just down the road.

My morning started at Emma’s parents home where she was getting ready with her family before driving over the dales for her and Gary’s ceremony and reception at the Peak Edge Hotel.

Here are a few of my favourite moments of which you can also see and share on my Facebook page.

Kathleen and Todd’s Turks & Caicos Destination Wedding

Kathleen and Todd’s destination wedding in the Turks and Caicos Islands is next up on the blog bringing a good dose of Vitamin D, a unique bridal preparation and plenty of laughter as friends and family partied at Grace Bay’s Seven Stars.

With over 40 beautiful islands, Turks and Caicos has plenty to offer and on the morning of her wedding Kathleen and her Bridesmaids set of from the island of Providenciales to take in some of the sights.

Their island cruise was inspired by Kathleen’s favourite Disney movie with the Little Mermaid making a guest appearance. Having grown up in a house of two sisters who were also big fans of Ariel, it was great to report back to them with photographic evidence that Ariel and Eric’s relationship is still going strong and that they were soon to be expecting a little mermaid or merman!

Things got a little active with a trek across “Lizard Island” and then Kathleen and her entourage took a plunge in the Atlantic, a welcomed reprieve from the hot Caribbean sun.

Following their more “uniform” preparations Kathleen and Todd enjoyed the most beautiful ceremony on the beach as the sun readied to set over the ocean with settings like that it was the perfect choice from Kathleen and Todd to continue their celebrations outside, embraced by the warm tropical breeze.

Nadia and Spencer’s Cathedral Quarter Hotel Wedding

Taking a look back to Nadia and Spencer’s wedding at the Cathedral Quarter Hotel today by sharing a few of my favourite images of an Aerospace inspired wedding from a couple who apply their expertise at the famous car and aero-engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce.

Nadia’s day started off at their home in Derby where the preparations were not just limited to hair, makeup and fashion but also in perfecting the timing of the bridesmaid’s entrance at the Cathedral Quarter. It was worthwhile as their steps were perfectly in synch with Johann Pachelbel’s Canon.

But not to be outdone, later that evening Spencer showcased his moves on the dancefloor with a beautiful first dance that left the wedding guests open mouthed.

A great day to be part of, and I’m pleased to be sharing some of my favourite moments of which you can also see and share on my Facebook page.

Cally and Norton’s Swancar Farm Wedding Previews

My first wedding at Nottinghamshire’s popular wedding venue Swancar Farm and it was great to be there with Cally and Norton and to photograph the celebrations with their friends and family.

It was a true winter wedding with strong winds blowing across the surrounding farmland so the converted barn and outhouses of Swancar Farm provided welcomed shelter away from the elements.

There are plenty more photos to come but for now here are a few previews of some of my favourite moments of which you can also see and share on my Facebook page.

Laura and Tim’s Wedding at Layer Marney Tower

I do love to dance and one thing that is definitely on my bucket list it to be involved in a big and impressive flash mob, ideally to a Michael Jackson classic. So when they do come about at weddings I have to admit I’m always a little envious and during Laura and Tim’s Robin Thicke inspired first dance the line between photographer and guest got a little blurred and I had to fight the urge to put down the camera and join in.

With Laura being a personal trainer and Tim a triathlon athlete it was to be expected that their wedding at Layer Marney Tower in Essex would have something active in it and it was great to see all their friends and family get involved in the action too.

Here are a few of my favourite moments from Laura and Tim’s wedding at Layer Marney Tower of which you can also see and share on my Facebook Page.
