Sarah & Jonathan’s Wedding at Hotel Zaza Previews

Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of flying to Houston to photograph Sarah and Jonathan’s wedding at Hotel Zaza. I first met Jonathan during my first visit to Houston. Since then our paths have crossed a few times. Jonathan’s been a guest at several weddings and also officiated Aleece and Tim’s destination wedding.

When we last met in the Turks & Caicos Islands, Jonathan introduced Chloe and I to his fantastic Fiancé Sarah. I was truly honoured when Sarah asked if I would be available to photograph their wedding at Hotel Zaza.

Since returning from the Caribbean, we’ve kept in touch through FaceTime and Instagram. With regular catch up’s with Sarah about their wedding plans I was very excited to be part of their day and as you’ll see from these previews it really did live up to expectations.

With guests coming in from all over the US, Sarah and Jonathan hosted a weekend of events. Starting with a pampering session for the Bridesmaids and ending in their wedding at Hotel Zaza.

On the morning of their wedding Jonathan took the men over to Top Golf for some friendly competition. After plenty of swings and a few too many misses later it was then back to prepare for his wedding at Hotel Zaza.

Coordinated by Lauren Ehly Events the day was flawless. From getting ready in the amazing suites at Hotel Zaza, to their wedding reception in the ballroom. Guests were entertained by an amazing showband and the famous southern hospitality was evident with an exquisite menu.

Here are a few of my favourite moments from Sarah and Jonathan’s wedding at Hotel Zaza. These will also be available to see and share on my Facebook page in a couple of days.

Laura and Ben’s New Year’s Eve Wedding at The Hillbark Hotel

The end of 2015 was simply brilliant as was the start of 2016, with Laura and Ben’s New Year’s Eve wedding at the Hillbark Hotel in Wirral ensuring that both years would be ones to remember.

There was plenty to be celebrated before Laura and Ben welcomed in 2016 with the familiar 10-second countdown and the joyous singing of Auld Lang Syne with a beautifully styled reception at the Hillbark Hotel, taking full advantage of their exclusivity with the evening being hosted in the several banqueting rooms and Marquee of the Tudor venue.

Laura prepared for the wedding at her families home in Wirral, with the highlights being the amazing reactions of her close friends and family at seeing Laura in her wedding dress for the first time.

It was then a short trip to the church for Laura and Ben’s ceremony before continuing their day at the Hillbark Hotel.

Here are a few of my favourite moments of which you can see and share on my Facebook page.

Kathleen and Todd’s Turks & Caicos Destination Wedding

Kathleen and Todd’s destination wedding in the Turks and Caicos Islands is next up on the blog bringing a good dose of Vitamin D, a unique bridal preparation and plenty of laughter as friends and family partied at Grace Bay’s Seven Stars.

With over 40 beautiful islands, Turks and Caicos has plenty to offer and on the morning of her wedding Kathleen and her Bridesmaids set of from the island of Providenciales to take in some of the sights.

Their island cruise was inspired by Kathleen’s favourite Disney movie with the Little Mermaid making a guest appearance. Having grown up in a house of two sisters who were also big fans of Ariel, it was great to report back to them with photographic evidence that Ariel and Eric’s relationship is still going strong and that they were soon to be expecting a little mermaid or merman!

Things got a little active with a trek across “Lizard Island” and then Kathleen and her entourage took a plunge in the Atlantic, a welcomed reprieve from the hot Caribbean sun.

Following their more “uniform” preparations Kathleen and Todd enjoyed the most beautiful ceremony on the beach as the sun readied to set over the ocean with settings like that it was the perfect choice from Kathleen and Todd to continue their celebrations outside, embraced by the warm tropical breeze.

Here are a few of my favourite images from Kathleen and Todd’s destination wedding at Seven Stars resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands of which you can also see and share on my Facebook page.

Nicola and Simon’s Wedding at Andaz, London

Sharing few of my favourite moments from another wedding where I’ve found it pretty difficult to leave the dance floor. During Nicola and Simon’s wedding at Andaz London it wasn’t just the great entertainment from the incredible super group The Soul Education they kept me under the disco ball but being physically engulfed by Nicola and Simon’s friends and family as they welcomed Nicola and Simon’s marriage with some pretty intense Israeli dancing. Don’t mistake that for a complaint though as there’s no place I’d rather be and it made for some amazing moments to photograph.

A few hours earlier it was more than a few levels calmer with an introduction to the wedding party who were getting ready at the Andaz Hotel on Liverpool Street before making the short journey to Bevis Marks, the oldest synagogue in the UK.

Get sucked up in the rush of the city and you’ll easily walk past the synagogue that is nestled in between its neighbouring contemporary buildings.

After Nicola and Simon’s intimate candlelit ceremony it was back to Andaz for the wedding reception where the pace instantly picked up.

Laura and Ben’s New Year’s Eve Wedding Previews

What an amazing way to end a brilliant 2015 and see in an exciting 2016 by celebrating with Laura and Ben during their stunning New Year’s Eve wedding at the Hillbark Hotel in Wirral.

Whilst counting down the last few hours, minutes and seconds of 2015 Laura and Ben prepared to start the next part of their story and joined by friends and family from around the UK they made sure the crossover was done in style.

Having known Ben for over 15 year and then meeting Laura a few weeks back I was really excited to have the privilege of photographing their day and as it all unfolded it was clear that all of their planning had been worthwhile.

The Hillbark Hotel provided the perfect settings for their relaxed wedding reception that followed their church ceremony. It was clear on arrival that Laura and Ben were set on making NYE2015 a memorable one for all who was there although with celebrations going on until the early morning it be testing for a few to recall some of the finer details.
