Rebecca & Simon’s Carbis Bay Wedding Previews

Last week I travelled down to Cornwall, one of my favourite parts of the UK to photograph Rebecca and Simon’s Carbis Bay wedding.

Rebecca and Simon are both from the landlocked midlands but had always dreamed of having a beach wedding. So when they started their venue search they were delighted to find The Carbis Bay Hotel.

Having recently passed their motorcycle test they also got to tick another item of the to-do list. Travelling around the Cornish coast on their His & Hers Harley Davidson’s.

Their Harley’s also made an appearance at the wedding, complete with their two British Bulldogs Henry and Bruce.

Here are a few of my favourite moments from their Carbis Bay wedding of which you can also see and share on my Facebook Page.

Gemma & Ryan’s Lake District Wedding Previews

It was a bank holiday weekend at the impressive Lake Ullswater as I went north to photograph the Lake District wedding of Gemma and Ryan.

Having moved to Derby from Cockermouth as a child, Ryan was keen to return to Cumbria for a beautiful Lake District wedding.

Gemma and Ryan’s guests enjoyed spectacular views of Lake Ullswater as they witnessed the gazebo ceremony at The Inn on the Lake.

Spoilt for views, they then enjoyed a drinks reception under the imposing presence of the Helvellyn mountain range before enjoying their meal at The Inn on the lake.

I was with the wedding party until the early hours of Easter Sunday, photographing the celebrations of their friends and family.

Here are some previews of my favourite moments from Gemma and Ryan’s Lake District wedding.

Kathleen and Todd’s Turks & Caicos Destination Wedding

Kathleen and Todd’s destination wedding in the Turks and Caicos Islands is next up on the blog bringing a good dose of Vitamin D, a unique bridal preparation and plenty of laughter as friends and family partied at Grace Bay’s Seven Stars.

With over 40 beautiful islands, Turks and Caicos has plenty to offer and on the morning of her wedding Kathleen and her Bridesmaids set of from the island of Providenciales to take in some of the sights.

Their island cruise was inspired by Kathleen’s favourite Disney movie with the Little Mermaid making a guest appearance. Having grown up in a house of two sisters who were also big fans of Ariel, it was great to report back to them with photographic evidence that Ariel and Eric’s relationship is still going strong and that they were soon to be expecting a little mermaid or merman!

Things got a little active with a trek across “Lizard Island” and then Kathleen and her entourage took a plunge in the Atlantic, a welcomed reprieve from the hot Caribbean sun.

Following their more “uniform” preparations Kathleen and Todd enjoyed the most beautiful ceremony on the beach as the sun readied to set over the ocean with settings like that it was the perfect choice from Kathleen and Todd to continue their celebrations outside, embraced by the warm tropical breeze.

Here are a few of my favourite images from Kathleen and Todd’s destination wedding at Seven Stars resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands of which you can also see and share on my Facebook page.

Charlotte and Rob’s Shottle Hall Wedding

Some of my favourites from Charlotte and Rob’s wedding at Shottle Hall’s Coach House are next up on the blog and then later this week I’ll be previewing the last wedding of 2015 with a NYE wedding in the Wirral.

Charlotte and Rob along with their entourage of Bridesmaids and Groomsmen got ready in the numerous impressive rooms at Shottle Hall so it was great to be able to spend time with all of them prior to their ceremony under the Coach House’s gazebo.

Following the ceremony a few toasts, several selfies and plenty of dancing was to follow as the wedding party continued their celebrations in the Shottle Hall marquee. Here are a few of my favourites that you can also see and share on my Facebook page.

Jade and Steve’s Ibiza Destination Wedding

Dancing to the sounds of Spanish guitar under a beautiful Ibiza sunset on a roof terrace previously graced by Bette Davis and Maurice Chevalier has probably got to be one of the most surreal ways to start your married life and that’s exactly what Jade and Steve experienced during their Ibiza Destination Wedding at Whitecaps Villa.

Jade and Steve’s destination wedding celebrations started to heat up the evening before their wedding with drinks and entertainment in Es Canar to welcome their friends and family to the island. Sensible heads were clear ones in the morning of the wedding with most having a respectable bed time the night before ready for an evening wedding ceremony at Whitecaps Villa that would likely go on into the small hours.

Here a my favourite moments from Jade and Steve’s Ibiza Destination Wedding of which you can also see and share on my Facebook page.
